Here are three samples of skies I painted using watercolor. As I said earlier, there is so much variation in sky colors, clouds, shapes and weather that you could go on painting skies forever and never run out of ideas!

Artist Biography
Sandra Yorke vividly displays her passion for nature in her watercolor paintings. She paints in her studio on a 12 acre farm in La Center, Washington, inspired by the beauty around her.
"I have always been inspired by the spiritual connection between people and nature", says the artist. "There is a healing and sense of renewal that occurs when we enjoy nature's beauty."
Sandi received a degree in Bacteriology and Public Health from Washington State University. She continues her work in Public Health and expanded her education by taking classes in art. She fell in love with watercolor, a very sensitive medium, which makes it ideal for conveying moods and feelings to the viewer. Her paintings are in private collections througout the U.S. and many have won awards in art shows.
