One of the best parts of being in Hawaii, of course, is the weather. I love the way it rains in the morning and then that warm sun pops out and sets everything all aglow!

Artist Biography
Sandra Yorke vividly displays her passion for nature in her watercolor paintings. She paints in her studio on a 12 acre farm in La Center, Washington, inspired by the beauty around her.
"I have always been inspired by the spiritual connection between people and nature", says the artist. "There is a healing and sense of renewal that occurs when we enjoy nature's beauty."
Sandi received a degree in Bacteriology and Public Health from Washington State University. She continues her work in Public Health and expanded her education by taking classes in art. She fell in love with watercolor, a very sensitive medium, which makes it ideal for conveying moods and feelings to the viewer. Her paintings are in private collections througout the U.S. and many have won awards in art shows.
