Today I wanted to mention a great book called "This Time I Dance", by Tama Kieves. If you are thinking of making a change in your life (especially a change involving a more creative expression of you) this is a GREAT book to read. I included a link to her website, also. Quiet Waters

This painting is of the Applegate River in southern Oregon near the town of Ashland. Ashland is one of my favorite places to visit. There are lots of unique shops and galleries, a beautiful park right downtown, the Shakespeare festival in the summer and lots of beautiful scenery everywhere.

I have been working on several paintings, but am having problems with my scanner so haven't been able to get pictures up on the blog. I did manage to get a picture of this one, though. I'm not sure it's totally finished yet. I may add a touch of blue around some of the petals.
