Splash

Here is another watercolor done on Yupo paper. This one is of a waterfall (painting water with watercolor is a natural, and on Yupo it's even better). By tilting the paper when the paint is wet you can get all kinds of wonderful effects. Beautiful!

Collage

I keep pieces of old paintings around to use in making collages. Usually I keep pieces of similar colors together in a plastic baggie. Then when I feel like painting a collage, I will arrange various size pieces on a sheet of watercolor paper. When I'm satisfied with the design, I glue them down on the paper, let it dry and add various shapes, colors and designs with watercolor. Sometimes I use stamping or pastels in the final design also. I called this one "Fall Sonata".
